After your first 50 free redactions each month, prices start at 30p and fall to 8p at volume.
Each price applies only to the redactions in that band. All prices are in pounds sterling and usage is invoiced monthly.
A worked example
For 1,200 redactions in a month, the first 50 are free. The next 950 cost 30p each (£285.00), and the remaining 200 cost 20p each (£40.00).
Total for the month: £325.00.

Frequently asked questions
What counts as one redaction?
One successfully processed text submission or document counts as one redaction. PDFs must stay within the 50-page and 25 MB limits; pasted text must stay within 1 MB.
Do I need a card?
No card is needed for the daily allowance without an account. Add a card to use account redactions and API keys. The account includes 50 redactions a month; additional usage is charged at the published rates.
How does pay as you go work?
Each month the first 50 account redactions are free. Additional redactions up to 1,000 cost 30p each, from 1,001 to 9,999 they cost 20p each, and from 10,000 they cost 8p each. Each rate applies only within its usage band. Website and API usage are invoiced together.
Does the API cost extra?
No. API and website redactions count towards the same monthly total, on the same bill.
Can I still redact for free without an account?
Yes. Redact one document a day without an account or a card. The allowance resets at midnight UTC.
