PII Purge helps people remove personal information before sharing documents, from CVs for blind hiring to contracts for review.
Why we built it
Personal information doesn't always follow a pattern.
Names, employers, schools and organisations can identify someone just as readily as an email address. Finding that information by hand takes time, while simple pattern matching can miss the context.
PII Purge uses a multi-step pipeline built on open-source technologies and open-weight LLMs to find personal information in context, then remove it from PDFs and text. You can use it in your browser or build it into an application through the API.
All of it runs on Hexploits Cloud: the website, the API and the LLMs themselves, on bare-metal servers. Nothing you submit is sent to a third-party AI service or used for training.
Documents are processed in memory and discarded once the result is returned. Redacted PDFs are rebuilt so the content beneath the redaction bars is removed from the output. Explore our approach to security.
